HTML icon becomes white

After uninstalling Office, the HTML file icon becomes white. Changing the default browser, refreshing the icon cache, and deleting the icon cache file still cannot solve the problem. Seeking God

    If you only need to restore the icon display, it is recommended to use a third-party tool software (such as FileTypesMan).

    After downloading the compressed package, unzip and run the FileTypesMan application,

    Find the line with the extension “html”, double-click this line to open the file type editing window,

    Modify the “default icon” item, the system default icon is:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE,-17

    If the IE browser related files are missing and the icon cannot be restored, you can click the “…” button behind the input box to browse freely and select the icon

    [OK] after setting.
