The folder cannot be dragged with the mouse. The solution is as follows: 1) First make sure that the “Auto Arrange” and “Align to Network” functions are not enabled, right click on the blank space of the desktop, and the mouse points to the “Arrange Icons” in the right window. Check whether the “automatic alignment” and “align to the network” are hooked before the two hooks are removed. 2) Right click on the blank space of the taskbar and select “Properties”. In the “Taskbar and Start Menu Properties” pop-up, switch to the “Start Menu” tab, click the “Customize” button below, and the “Custom Start Menu” pops up. “The window switches to the “Advanced” tab, pull down the slider, find and tick “Enable drag and drop”, click “OK” to exit; 3) Click the “Start” menu, select “Run”, run Enter “gpedit.msc” (without quotes) in the window, click OK to open “Group Policy”, “Administrative Template” under the user configuration item in “Windows Components”, click “Task Scheduler”, then in the right window Find “Disable Drag and Drop”, double click to open the project, set it to “Unconfigured” or “Disabled” and click “OK” to exit. Task Scheduler Disables Drag and Drop Settings By setting the above method, you can generally solve the problem that the mouse cannot drag the desktop icon.
